Both of them you can get on your company’s Mobile Access VPN page. I don't expect exact answers, just some recommendations where to start if other solutions are preferred. There are two shell script files you’ll need to download to setup Check Point Mobile Access VPN on your machine: snxinstall.sh. I am also opened for any other idea (ssh-tunneling, etc.) if that is a better way. The main objective is to have the cheapest alternative but still being relative secure and usable for non-IT professionals to access the data. If yes, is it possible to setup OpenVPN and Postgres on the same server and allow DB access only for those clients who are using VPN? Or should OpenVPN live on another server and the database should be separated? I am quite new for networking and I would like to know if it is a good idea to use OpenVPN (or generally VPN) to restrict PostgreSQL server access. ![]()
